2-13-2025 πŸ•ŠοΈ Morning Prayers

πŸ•ŠοΈ The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Though an army may camp against me, my heart shall not fear;

Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. πŸ•ŠοΈ

Psalms 27:1, 3

πŸ•ŠοΈ Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.

Set me free from my prison, that I might praise Your name. πŸ•ŠοΈ

Psalms 142:6-7

My enemies might not resemble those faced by biblical warriors, but I do have enemies. There are attackers of my time, my well-being, my happiness.

The quest for money, jealousy, blind ambition, reckless talk…these enemies stalk my spirit and wear it down. I feel the oppression in my gut.

Some of these enemies were as familiar as friends and family, so it was hard to turn from them. I realize I have not moved far enough away and I’m vulnerable.

Help me O Lord, use Your strength to fight these lurking foes. Arm me with Your Word, Your truth, and Your peace.

I praise your Holy Name! πŸ•ŠοΈ
