🕊️ “And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. 

Pray then like this:

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.

Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. 🕊️

Good morning Father!

Thank You for this day!

Thank You for my life!

Thank You for my sweet loving bride!

Thank You for my beautiful and thoughtful daughter!

All things good and wonderful in our lives, You have blessed us with Father. Thank You!

Meditating on the prayer You taught us to pray, Lord I am remembering my mother’s memorial and how I remember her life, her struggles and how she overcame them through her faith in You Lord. She gave of herself always and made many sacrifices for all of us, her six children. My mother, Evelyn, was the strongest person I have ever known. I pray Lord, I have developed and pass on these same traits of love, care, understanding, and above all the same strong Faith she taught me. May Your Spirit fill me this day and shine Your light in and through all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
