🕊️ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 

He was in the beginning with God. 

All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

John’s Witness: The True Light

There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 

This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 

He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 

That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world.

He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 

He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

The Word Becomes Flesh

And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’ ”

And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 

For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 

No one has seen God at any time. 

The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. 🕊️

I lift up my arms heavenward this morning, praising God for the salvation of my soul, through Faith, and believing on the name of Jesus Christ, my savior and my God! 🕊️

Lord, I pray You fill me with Your Spirit, may I discern what is the truth and Your Spirit’s guidance of all that I pray, blessing my family and all those who have need of healing, the sick and suffering, may they be healed, in Jesus’ name, may they find rest from all they fear and remove their doubt. 

I pray Your Spirit fill them and bless their home and their work and their children and their children’s children. 🕊️

I lift up All my children this day, and All my grandchildren, and All my great grandchildren, may Your Spirit fill them with Joy, having been blessed by Your Holy Word in their life and their family. 

May each member walk in the Spirit and shine Your Holy Light O Lord, may they be seen in their coming and their going, may their light be as the children of the Lord, ministering to all those around them who live and walk in darkness, may they find the light and receive their salvation and release from all doubt and fear of death of the body and soul. 🕊️

But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him. 

The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ—He is Lord of all— that word you know, which was proclaimed throughout all Judea, and began from Galilee after the baptism which John preached: how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. 

And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. 

Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead. 

And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. 

To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.”

While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. 

For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.

Then Peter answered, “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” 

And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. 

Then they asked him to stay a few days. 🕊️

Reading Your Word this morning, I am once again blessed, beyond measure, and as I meditate on them, I have a sense and vision of Your Words come alive in my mind and my heart.

I can see Your Holy Word, not just by reading it. There is an awesome sense I am walking on the same roads and standing in the same rooms as those in Your Word!

Lord bless my family this day, may my sweet bride Amy, be blessed in her work, meeting people who need assistance in preparing for their loved ones last days and accommodations for their remains.

I pray Father, Your Spirit would give her the words of comfort she may share with these family members’ need.

I pray for healing for her cousin Eric, may Your Spirit rest upon him and restore his mind and body, may he see and experience Your Love and forgiveness, Your Grace, Mercy and healing, in Jesus’ name.

I lift up All my children before You this day, I lift up my grandchildren before You O Lord, I lift up my great grandchildren before You Father, may they each come into the knowledge of the Grace which You offer them by Your Holy Word, the salvation of their very souls, believing on the name of Jesus Christ, and may they find the path You have for them to share the same with all those in their orbit. 

I pray by the power of Your Holy Spirit, each one may receive a special gift which only You can provide. 

Father I lift up All the people of Israel before You, may they find Peace in their conflicts with the enemy within their walls and those who would do them harm, I pray Your Spirit guide them in the process and provide them many solutions for the process, besides those actions that take lives.

I pray for all those who suffer at their hands, may they find refuge and protection from harm and may they receive the nourishment and healing they need. 

I lift up the people of Ukraine and Russia Lord, I pray for Peace between their two countries.

May Your Spirit guide them through a process and open their minds to each step of Grace and Mercy you reveal to them. Lead these two peoples on that path towards Peace I pray.

May Your Spirit reveal to me the wisdom in the words I read as I study, may I increase in knowledge and retain the information added to my mind, may I bless others around me this day, may I shine Your light this day, in all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

🕊️ Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. And there was great joy in that city. 🕊️

I lift up All my family and my wife’s family, may You heal those who are sick in their body and those who are suffering memory issues, may they not forget You O Lord or their loved ones.

I pray this day Father, Your hand of blessing upon ALL my children Father, I pray Your hand of blessing upon all my grandchildren, Father, I pray Your hand of blessing upon all my great grand children, may each of them see Your glory revealed in and through them, fill each of them with Your Spirit and give them gifts, may they use them to bring glory to Your Holy Name, JESUS, praise Yahweh! I pray You bless All my family to serve You this day, and know what is the Hope of their deliverance from the darkness in this life, in this world. 

May Your Holy Spirit teach each of them to use their gifts and to then go out and teach their own children and grand children and great grandchildren, the Salvation of their souls and the light of this world comes only through Faith and hope, believing on the one and only name, JESUS CHRIST, our Lord and our deliverer! Hallelujah!

Lord I pray for Peace in Israel, I pray for the deliverance of the Palestinian people from the rift between their two peoples. I pray Your Spirit would travel through the lands You journeyed through, the land the apostles walked and their journeys, may Your Spirit manifest in the believers all around that land and may the people witness Your Word and Your Way continue to lead and bless those who follow the Faith and believe on the name of Jesus Christ, may they be healed, may they find their salvation and may they find peace!

Thank You O Lord, for Your Holy Word!

I pray for my grandson Andrew, may Your Spirit bless him with a double portion of the gifts he has been given, in the power of Your might and the power and authority of Your Word, may You remove the fear from those he shares Your Word, may the scales fall from their eyes and may they see, truly see You O Lord, may they be healed and walk anew in Faith and Your Grace in their lives, show them the power of believing on Your Holy name, Jesus, Hallelujah!

I pray this day Father, Your heavens open up and Your angels guard over my loved ones and minister to their needs, may they know and receive You O Lord, Jesus.

🕊️ Now in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplying, there arose a complaint against the Hebrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were neglected in the daily distribution. 

Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, “It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables. 

Therefore, brethren, seek out from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business; but we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word.”

And the saying pleased the whole multitude. 

And they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and the Holy Spirit, and Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and Nicolas, a proselyte from Antioch, whom they set before the apostles; and when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.

Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith. 🕊️

May my words be true, “I will follow Your Word and my life is Yours, to serve and worship, as Your Spirit directs my mind and heart and my very soul.”

Father, I pray for All my children, I lift up my grandchildren, I lift up my great grandchildren, may they All come into the knowledge of Your holy Word, may you breathe on them and heal them, may they receive the gifts You have prepared for them, yet before they were, but now they are, and as Your children of the light, may You receive them, may they walk among the other children of the light and serve You this day.

I pray for all those who roam this land, searching aimlessly in the dark, may they find You in the kindness of believers around them and may we all stand up for the poor and the sick among us. May we lay hands on the sick and those not in their right mind, may they be restored and be a great  witness for Your Spirit working amongst us, the Faith, the Truth, Your Holy Word is alive in this world, if we would only take the time to see and believe what is the power of believing and walking in that Faith! O Father, give me the words to share which would give sight to those who are blind to Your Word and may they truly see!

I pray for a great witness amongst the people that brings all men to You.

Thank You for my sweet bride, may she be blessed this day, serving those who have lost loved ones, and those who prepare for their loved ones passing. May Your Spirit bless her with the words of comfort and faith, strength and Love they need. I pray you bless her in her singing and her worship and all that she is and does for the glory of Your kingdom.

🕊️ And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch. Yet none of the rest dared join them, but the people esteemed them highly. And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women, so that they brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed. 🕊️

🕊️  And when they had brought them, they set them before the council. And the high priest asked them, saying, “Did we not strictly command you not to teach in this name? Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

In reading the Bible text this morning, the apostles walked in the Power of God’s Holy Spirit, in the  Lord’s name they brought the message of Jesus Christ, God’s Holy Word, to the people and all who would hear it, and those who were sick or tormented with unclean spirits, and in the name of Jesus, they they were healed.

I pray O Lord, may You fill me with Your Spirit this day, may those who read this message of Your Word, those who are sick and filled with unclean spirits, may they yield to Your Holy Spirit and be healed. May those who believe around them witness Your Mercy, Grace and Power.

I lift up All my loved ones before You Jesus, heal them and call them to You, to follow the Way.

May I walk in Your Spirit and shine Your light in the darkness around me, may Your light shine bright in all I say and do, in JESUS’ name, Amen!

🕊️ And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. 🕊️

May I not travel alone but bring other children of the light along with me, to learn of You and Your Way.

May my heart and soul reveal my spirit, the inner man who seeks forgiveness and chooses life, setting apart the flesh and all things of this world which distract me from my heavenly task before me, shinning Your light, Jesus Christ, Your Word and only hope for man’s salvation, for there are so many who walk in the dark, and may I spread that light to the lost.

🕊️ Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 

But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 🕊️

Christ Our I Peace

🕊️ For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 

And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 

For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. 🕊️

I pray for my Family this morning, not just my children and grandchildren, but my brothers and my sisters Lord. I think of them often, but the one I see and respect the most, my brother Rom, I think of him a lot and he inspires me in many of my creative tasks or projects, as I begin or through the processes or steps, I think of him. 

Today as I pray this morning and throughout the day, may Your Spirit be with me, but also bless my brother Rom, may Your angels guard over him and keep him safe, may Your light shine upon him and strengthen him in every endeavor, may he be blessed and a blessing to others, in all he says and does. 

I lift up all my children and all my grandchildren before You Father! 

May your Spirit comfort them in their time of need and may they sense Your Spirit with them when they face a decision or a challenge and need wise counsel. I pray You keep them safe. May they learn from You O Lord and may they be a blessing to others.

In reading Your Word Father, nothing is more important to me than my walk with You and the hope of being in Your presence for all eternity! 

I know It is not hard to imagine, but, if you don’t have Faith it is hard to believe and harder to follow!

I made my decision on that special day, I was 21, watching my brother Mike, 18, and his friend, Tim Sewell, sharing Your Word and Praying, day after day.

They would meet out on our front porch or in our living room. 

Knowing the person my brother was and who he had become, it bothered me, and I felt I was losing my best friend to some religious guy he met. I didn’t believe it was real at first.

But after watching them interact and hearing them read and specifically quoting Your Word, just above a whisper, as they shared, then seeing his sincerity, after a week or so, seeing it was real, I asked if I might join them and that was when I prayed for You O Lord, Jesus Christ, to forgive me of my sin and live and dwell in my heart.

Father, although Your Spirit first came to me, when I was in a jail cell, a couple years earlier, this day was the day I surrendered, wholeheartedly! 

My conversion was complete and I became sincerely devoted to The Way and following Your Word.

My prayers over the years have not changed much, only now that I am older My thoughts are very focused on All my children, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren. You are my legacy to my family.

I wish to leave this world with your Word in my mouth and in my writings and in the memories of my family, as being a man with many flaws and who makes mistakes, but a man of God.

So, today I pray as I have done every day before this, thanking You for one more day, to share my thoughts, my concerns for my family, in that they come to know Your Love and forgiveness, and they might walk the path which leads to You Father.

Bless me this day O Lord, may the light of Your presence shine bright in me, in all I say and do, may I bring glory to You and Your Holy name, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Thank You for my beautiful daughter!

All that I am and all that i possess, they are blessings from You O Lord!

Thank You!

I pray all men would be children of the light, however, because they are not, I lift up All my children and grandchildren before You Father. May Your Holy Spirit fill each heart and mind with Your Word and may we All walk in Your Way and as You Lead by Your Spirit.

I pray Lord, You bless my daughter Selah with Your heavenly wisdom and knowledge.

May Your angels watch over her and keep her safe, in all ways.

May she shine her light, Your Spirit, within her, in all she says and does this day.

Father, bless me this day with words of wisdom to share with Selah, to encourage her to walk with meaningful purpose and strength. May she sense Your Spirit’s lead and share Your Love with her fellow students and teachers.

Thank You Father, for hearing my petition and request for our daughter. May I walk in Your Spirit and shine Your light in all I say and do this day, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

🕊️ So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God.

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 

For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 

But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless. 

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. 🕊️

Good morning Father!

Thank. You for this day!

Thank You for my life!

Thank You for my sweet bride!

Thank You for my beautiful daughter!

Thank You for all that we are and possess, they are blessings from You O Lord.

In reflection of today’s scripture text, I pray Father, Your Spirit guide my steps toward being a doer of Your Word.

A recent celebration with my wife of 27 years has me looking into all the ways I can improve and become more efficient in the way we live and manage our time and all the blessings we have.

We had a visit from a special friend of ours, Cheri, who has been instrumental in orchestrating choir groups to perform at Christian music concerts, called SING!

During the years. we lived and served at St Lukes Lutheran Church in Bellevue, WA., I recorded every concert Cheri planned. Yesterday we talked about the outcomes of the most recent concert and different ways to edit and produce memorable and shorter clips for people to view, remember and share. 

Father God, growing older, It’s becoming more clear, how well we can think, look at each idea, and plan accordingly, considering our willingness to participate, our age, and what realistic physical help or assistance it will take to perform various tasks and projects on our heart to accomplish.

As a family, we are preparing for our daughter to begin middle school, and at a school she will attend for the first time. I pray Lord, may Your Spirit fill her and continue to gift her with the loving nature she has and a willingness to share that with her classmates and teachers. 

May she always be a light in the darkness around her, sharing her Love for life and her friends.

May Your angels watch over her and keep her safe.

I pray she develop new healthy relationships, which will last a lifetime. 

May she excel in her school work and may we continue to be present in her excitement and world of learning.

Lord, I pray for my entire family, friends, church members, and strangers.

May Your Spirit be present and lead us, may our hearts continue to look at our surroundings and really see the needs of our fellow man, just as we do for our most loved ones, seeing You in and through all our endeavors, as our guide and purpose in this life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
