2-6-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. 🕊️

James 1:12-13

If we are a kind of first fruit of His labor, boy it’s taken Him a lot of patience and love, to care for that garden. I can imaging what He means about having “weeds” sown amongst the good seed. We see this daily amongst our children and even more so amongst adults in and around us on every side!

Our challenge, is not always straight forward and may yet await us at any moment. Our Father has seen the plight of His creation, and our only desire is to please ‘Self’, and how we are a stiff-necked people.

So, given now that He put His Laws in our hearts and minds to follow, we should know better, yet we still have fallen short of being His firstfruit 🍎 or best effort.

I’ve lost 2 sons now and I know grief!

I can only imagine how our Father and our Creator grieved, giving up His only son, so we might find adoption as His children, and we might seek and find Him in and amongst the weeds, and live.

Thank you Lord, for Your sacrifice to give us hope, and Your patience and Your Love, paving a path for us back to paradise with you. May we shine Your light this day, in and through all we say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

2-5-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.

For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. 🕊️

James 2:1-8

I have read this many times and each time I remember was at a time in my life where I experience a challenge where the only difference is either trust Him who said He loves me and will never leave me or doubt and give in to my flesh and the behavior that will drive me to a life of passion for self-satisfaction and pride. I choose God every time. I really believe it is not me doing it, rather the Spirit of Hime within me driving me and strengthening me to make the right choices. Thank you Father, God, for Your Love, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

2-4-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.

Genesis 5:1

Father? What is it you see in me that reflects you as my creator? As I go about my day, I believe, and I hope there are moments when You shine through. I pray this day Father, that You steer my actions and my words towards Your ways and keep me on track Oh Lord. I am challenged on all sides, trying to be more like You. May your patience and understanding be with me this day. I feel Your Love and light leading my path, may I never stray from it. Your many blessings are beyond measure, on me and my family. Guard over them this day and keep them safe. May Your light shine upon them in and through all they say and do. Thank you for loving me and sharing Your son and His example to model manhood and godliness, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

2-3-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

Good Morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

You have blessed me and my family beyond measure, in every way. Thank you Lord!

🕊️ Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. His mother’s name Jecoliah; she was from Jerusalem. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Amaziah ha done. He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.

2 Chronicles 26:3-5

Father, I pray to understand the importance of being a man of God. I turn to You Lord, with my needs, my praises, my thanksgiving. I seek to turn away from all ungodly examples of manhood, and at times I fail. There are so many images and idols that distract me from my good intentions from Your will. Help my Father, to surround myself with godly men, and give me discernment as I weigh the choices in my life. I pray for Your leading so I can read words written by men of God, listen to the lessons of these men and emulate those who live a righteous, holy life. I will always seek to be the man You created me to be, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

2-2-2025 🕊️ Sunday Morning Prayers

Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

Thank you for my sweet bride and our baby girl!

All that we are and possess, we give thanks to you Lord!

🕊️ “The Greatest Gift”

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face.

Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE. 🕊️

1 Corinthians 13

🕊️ “Submit to God, Resist the Devil”

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for

“God resists the proud,

But gives grace to the humble.”

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.

To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. 🕊️

1 Peter 5:5-8

As I travel away from my loved ones, I prepare my heart, mind and spirit, for I don’t know what I will face along my journey.

In my morning routine, on this day, I include in my prayers, my family’s experience and my spiritual wellbeing, I reminding myself I need God’s Spirit to be with my family, to keep them safe and strong while I am away. For myself, I ask God for His Spirit of Love, to reign in me on my journey this day and all the time I am away.

I hope to accomplish all my work well, sure, and I ask God to keep me safe, sure, but in addition I ask God to bless me with His Spirit of “Love” to guide my way, my words as I greet others, and that my behavior in all I do, so I will bring God glory and praise Him for every step I take, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

2-1-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

🕊️ For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you.

For we are not writing any other things to you than what you read or understand. Now I trust you will understand, even to the end. 🕊️

2 Corinthians 1:12-13

🕊️ Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights greatly in his commandments.

A good man deals graciously and lends; He will guide his affairs with discretion.

Surely he will never be shaken; The righteous will be in everlasting remembrance.

He will not be afraid of evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. 🕊️

Psalms 112:1, 5-7

Father, God, I begin my day, raising my hands up to you in praise, thankful for another day, being present in the lives of my loved ones, the light of your Spirit shines in me and removes the darkness around me.

I walk with great confidence my feet are planted on solid ground, my surroundings will not dissuade me, for I know you walk beside me, and the path before me is clear.

I pray the words I speak are true, always pure, with purpose and discretion, with encouragement and strength, lifting up and filled with hope, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

1-31-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

🕊️ Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. 🕊️

Ephesians 4:31, 32

🕊️ Trust Him at all times, O people; pour out your hearts to Him, for God is our refuge. 🕊️

Psalms 62:8

Lord, I give you the concerns of my heart today, you know the burdens I am carrying right now. They weigh on my mind and turn my waking moments into chances to worry. I believe You are my refuge. I do, I just have not allowed You to play that role when it comes to this particular worry. Why do I hold back so much?

I want to trust You with everything in my life. Help me lighten my grip on matters of insignificance. And in matters of great importance and spiritual weight, let me be free to turn them over to You, my Provider, my Lord, my Rock., in Jesus’ name, Amen!

🕊️ Blessings on your day…and along your life journey!

1-30-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. 🕊️

Genesis 2:7

Your hand is responsible for forming the physical shape of mankind.

Lord, Your breath entered a form and turned it into a living being.

Help me, Oh Lord, to embrace this breath of life…this living spirit that resides within me.

You created wonderful, active beings as Your children. You could have insisted that we all look the same, act the same, and follow one path…but you didn’t.

Instead, You formed each of us as an individual. You breathed life into our lungs and souls, and we became our unique selves.

Lord, thank you for letting me be myself!

🕊️ Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. For when you have been approved, you will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 🕊️

James 1:2, 3, 4, 12

1-29-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ In the morning, Oh Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my request before you and wait in expectation.

Psalms 5:3

I love the morning, Lord! Thank you for allowing me to experience a new beginning each day of my life. While it is yet early, and I am still waking up, I lift my hands up to you, I praise you for the new day, for my life and my family, and a safe home to live and rest.

Before my mind and body moves and flows with the days activities, I pray Lord, Your Spirit brings me back to this place, where I find myself reaching towards You and Your blessing on my life.

May all the meditations of my heart, mind, and soul, be focused on You Lord, and may all I say and do be a blessing to others and bring glory to Your Holy Name this day, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️

1-28-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ Seeing then we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. 🕊️

Hebrews 4:14-16

🕊️ Father God, thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

Thank you for my sweet bride and our beautiful daughter.

Thank you for all the many blessings we have and for keeping us safe.

We are witnesses of so much suffering here at home, in our community, and outwardly in the many communities in our state and all around the world. I cannot begin my day without first lifting up my hands and voice in praise!

Help us Lord, to live our lives simply and peacefully, looking for even the smallest opportunity to share what we have with those in need around us.

May the light You shine in our hearts reflect outwardly, in all we say and do, not in pride or boasting, without sinning, but in our actions or walk by faith and as You lead us. As we grow in faith and by Your grace, may Your Spirit fill us with words of wisdom and truth to live by, and share with others as is appropriate and in love, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️

1-27-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

But wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gently, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and hypocrisy.

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.🕊️

James 3:16-18

Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

Thank you for all the blessings you rain on me and my family each day. Thank you for watching over us and keeping us safe! May your light shine in and through me and my family this day, in all we say and do!

Lord, as I go about my day, help me to be watching for those who need a healing word. Help me to listen to the needs being expressed around me. At work or in leisure, guide me to listen to what individuals are saying beneath the conversation. Is their life difficult right now? Are they excited about a recent joyful event?

Every conversation I have with another person is important! Help me oh Lord, to speak words of encouragement and love, in the exchange of friendly banter or deep discussion about faith and life…they all matter, because these connect me with other beings created in Your image.

Remind me oh Lord, to be an encourager, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

1-26-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ A New Covenant with God: “…I will put my law in their minds, and write it on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they all shall know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” says the Lord. “For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” 🕊️

Jeremiah 31:34

🕊️ “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest, by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living Way which he consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies wash with pure water.

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope, without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 🕊️

Hebrews 10:19-23

Thank you Father, for your love and your sacrifice for my life and to help free me from the chains of guilt and shame, I was shackled by my sin and seen as an outcast, but then, through your mercy and grace, you accepted me as I was, full of hatred, anger and bitterness, and You delivered me!

Your Holy Spirit has filled me and set my feet on solid ground. Through the years, with the seed of your Word, now deeply rooted in my heart and mind, may I always and forever radiate with Your light in all I say and do. May I hear your Word echoing in my mind, leading me, directing my every step, causing my way to be sure and true, and steady. Thank you Lord, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

1-25-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 🕊️

Romans 8:1

🕊️ Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we shall pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. 🕊️

Romans 8:26

🕊️ A sick man, who is rich, cannot buy life, when he is dying. With such a short time left brings one to thoughts on all the memories before him. Where has my focus on life taken me? How will I be remembered? Did I make a difference?

So many thoughts to consider, I say live each day as if it were your last! Tell those important to you that you love them, while you still can! Speak words of hope and peace to those around you! Give to someone in need and extend a hand of friendship to the stranger before you. The epicurean seeks joy in what pleasurable things he has or does in his short life, but the spiritual man finds happiness in life daily, because he sees the riches of an everlasting joy, and love, and peace that awaits him. 👀

We all are on a mission, a journey, which has many paths. I pray the life I choose, each step I take, leads me along the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️

1-24-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ “Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Whoever of you lives life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. 🕊️

Psalms 34:11-13

With so much debauchery and imprudent messages coming from those who are supposed to lead and protect the people they serve, I am reluctant to join their band or sing their song.

Today, I find myself digging deeper into God’s Holy Word and meditate on His messages of hope and inspiration.

How will I lead my loved ones if my heart is bitter and cold, my hands wringing as I watch the news and hearing more negativity and playing the same hopeless song?

This day I choose to rejoice in the good news of Jesus Christ! I will read from His Words of the hope and comfort which brings me peace and calms my spirit.

Today, I make plans to walk along a path I know will lead me to truth and righteousness. Each step I take brings me ever closer to a deeper relationship with the One who brings me joy and love for life, strengthening my walk as I enter into the light of His presence.

Bless me this day Oh Lord, that I might keep my eyes on you alone, and may I walk in the light, as You lead me, by faith, and filled with Your Spirit in my life and as I journey towards truth.

Thank you Father, for your Love, and sacrificing your son, Jesus Christ, so I might find grace, mercy and peace, for myself, my family, and all those I come across, searching for the answers, in Jesus’ name, Amen 🕊️

1-23-2025 “Hush of Humility”

(from: One minute Prayers for Men)

🕊️ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that on one can boast. 🕊️

(Ephesians 2:8-9)

God, everything I have is from you.

The faith I hold onto tightly is a gift of Your Grace.

If people see the peace and wholeness of my life, may I never claim responsibility for such things.

I will share about Your mercy.

I will share how Your love transformed me at a time when I could do nothing to help myself.

My dependence on You should shine far brighter than my self-sufficiency.

Let everything I do, say, accomplish, or receive praise for be a reflection of Your gift.

~~~~~~~
🕊️ Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
These words I pray, the words I write down in my journaling, and share online with others, they are from my heart and it’s a purposeful endeavor driving me.
🕊️ Thank you Lord! 🕊️
1-21-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers
…For it is God’s will, that by doing ‘good’, you should silence the ignorance of foolish men. 1 Peter 2:15
The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. Ecclesiastes 9:17
🕊️ Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride and our beautiful daughter!
All that we possess and all that we are, they are all blessings from you.
Help me this day Lord. Fill me with your Spirit, and guide me with your unfailing Love, to share words of ‘hope’ and ‘strength’ to those struggling in the dark beside me. May your light shine in and through me this day, in all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️
1-20-2025 Morning prayers
🕊️”Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angel nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love ❤️ of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.🕊️
Palestinian suffering
Reading a post from my cousin, Robert Corsini
After reading a post by my cousin Robert Corsini, I asked for a response, for his thoughts, what can I do to help make a difference in providing relief for the Palestinian people.
https://www.facebook.com/share/1FTNVCQuy9/?mibextid=wwXIfr
We all can sit in our homes, reading or watching the suffering. We live in peace, without all the noise of war and suffering. I pray daily for God’s intervention in the suffering and I pray for peace. After that, I keep asking myself, “How can I make a difference?“
Two weeks out…
6-3-2024
Sitting in my car just before 8:00 am, in front of my dentist office. While I wait for the doors to be unlocked so I can arrive for my appointment, I’m contemplating all the necessary preparations for our upcoming journey through Turkey and Greece.
I’ve put over $700 in my separate savings, with a goal of having $1,000 cash, in small bills, ($20’s) to bring with me on the trip.
I have purchased some new but selected almost all the clothes I’ll bring on the trip. I’ve contemplated how to present several identification documents for my personal security and how I will carry them.
~~~ Now it is 7 months past our return home from our trip, and still the images are fresh in my mind. The excitement of our life is an ongoing wave of joy and calm. Each new journey is well planned, and each family member considered. My sweet bride is always right beside me, beside our family, always looking for new experiences to grow and witness that joy of life revealed in “Us” as a family. She is selfless and pure in thought, a peaceful calm in the face of the raging sea of life before us, knowing, believing, trusting God will protect us and provide us with a safe path forward each day.

🕊️ Thank you Father, for my lovely bride. May your Spirit continue to bless her daily! May you bless her with wisdom and the comforting words to give each family which comes through the doors of her work, to prepare and providing a memorable and well planned memorial experience. May I always appreciate her and make her feel loved and cared for. May your Spirit continue to guide my steps and fulfill the list of duties expected of me. May I learn to act in unison with our family goals and each well planned activity. It’s a celebration each time she returns home from a days work. We are so blessed with hearing Amy’s voice, as she sings in the band at church each Sunday. Always cheerful, always so positive. What a wonderful life we have together. Thank you Lord!, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️

The Ark Placed in the Tabernacle

1 Chronicles 16:1-36

So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before GJeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made musJeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with cymbals; 6 Benaiah and Jahazielites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD God of Israel: 5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with cymbals; 6 Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests regularly blew the trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God.

12-29-2024 “Let Your Light Shine”, My Faith Journey

Thank you for this day oh Lord!

Thank you for my Life!

Thank you for my sweet bride, Amy and our beautiful baby girl, Selah!

Thank you for so many blessings you have rained upon us! Having a new safe place to dwell and grow as a family. A place to call our own, a new home. All that we are and all we possess, we believe are blessings from you Lord! Our life is filled with promise, always positive, always true, always seeking new opportunities to let our light shine. May your Holy Spirit guide us this day oh Lord, in all we say and do, and may your angels guard over us and keep us safe, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

(NKJV) “For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing, imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

Father God, I lift up my hands before you in praise! May the words of my heart, which I share, and my actions this day, be acceptable in your eyes and bring glory to your holy name.

Lord, as I rise my head from my pillow in the morning, throughout the day, and until I lay it down to rest each evening, may the meditations of my heart and my every action which follows, be on a path of truth and righteousness. I pray, every word I speak with others be in good conscience and my actions pure. Help me oh Lord, I pray, not to stray from my journey of faith, willingness to sacrifice and yielding to your guiding Spirit. Help me Lord to crawl before walking, walk before running, and only run when it’s with confidence I run in alignment with your blessing and good counsel. Help me to see your Spirit move in the hearts of others, and give me wisdom where using my talents and resources. May they never be wasted or used in selfish conceit. May I work assertively, yet in humility and be humble before my brothers and strangers alike. Above all, Lord may your light shine in all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

6-30-2024 ‘Back of the Bus’

🕊️✨Homeward bound, we’re laying around the Denver Airport, many of the members of our Greece pilgrimage group, still hanging together. It’s almost a comfort, simply because we’ve gone through so much together, these last two weeks.

We sat together or in close proximity, doing what we do. Regardless if it’s a meal or walk around our hotel or heading to a new historical destination to explore, we did it all together. Now it’s the drudgery of wading through airport security lines, and then looking for a comfortable place to sit or lay around near our gate.

It was a pleasant time with this group, simply because it’s like we are all family and we watch each other’s back, especially listening to the chitchat about our day, or the meal, or almost anything, like how sick we all feel.

Catching a bug about a week ago, I thought I was the only one besides Pastor Jim. Now it appears all or most of us 39 members have it. We all were able to joke about how sick we feel and silly recommended cures or things to try to make each other feel better.

When our group was together on the tour bus, it’s interesting how we all at first, selected the seat to sit, and everyone continued using the same seat, site by site and day by day, when we stopped at various locations, in returning to the bus, everyone sat in the same seat each person originally selected.

Amy and my seats were in the back of the bus. Amy sat on the seat on the left side of the isle, and I sat on the right, however we were in the same row across from each other.🕊️✨

🕊️✨On the tour bus, because we sat at the ‘Back of the Bus’, Amy and I were able to see everyone. So if someone spoke out loud to the group, we could see all their reactions. It was a fun time, riding at ‘the back of the bus’ together.

In order to pass the time, between locations, which were miles apart, we had guessing games where each person spoke loudly to the group.

I will never forget our trip to Greece, nor the pleasure of the company of beautiful souls as we travelled together.🕊️✨

9-19-2024 Meditations and readings

Today, in my readings, I came across some encouragement via scripture…

Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people’s feet.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.🕊️~~~ Matthew 5:14-16 ~~~

I ask myself, “Do I conform to ideals of right human conduct?” “Do I have a responsible relationship toward the laws of the natural world.”

For me, No one knows the mind of other people. There exists some level of uncertainty until words are spoken, which reveals the heart of another man/woman or witnessing acts of kindness and care towards others.

What is sacred to one may be profane to another. I hope I remember this and teach myself daily to respect others’ values on life, regardless if it is in line with my thinking or my ideals of right human conduct or how I follow what I believe to be in sync with what I believe to be, the laws of the natural world.

What I follow daily is the drive and determination to shine my light, which may be seen by others as acts of love and kindness. That’s my prayer for today!🕊️😎❤️

7-27-2024 prayers for this day.

Father, God, supplier of all our needs, you are the one and only answer for what we need. As we experience our physical bodies age and become weak, we pray for healing and grasp onto whatever we receive to maintain us for another day.
Help us as we face the physical challenges, give us your wisdom and patience to wait upon you and not be shackled to the demands of the world around us.
Help us oh Lord, Father, as your children, we still need you to guide our way through the dark.
See our hearts Father and judge our motives. Forgive us where we lack the vision to see the answers in front of us.
Guide us with your Holy Spirit and grace. Give us your Peace and grant us oh Lord, the courage to see another day through, in Jesus’ name, Amen!🕊️

7-14-2024 The Way of Love

Lord I pray this day, I may show love to all those around me, from my family and friends whom I worship with in church today, to the stranger I come across while driving, out shopping, or in passing on the street. Fill my heart, mind, and spirit with your love Lord, in Jesus’ name Amen!

The Way of Love – 1 Corinthians 13
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Remembering Mom – Evelyn Evageorgina Lopez-Corsini

Video by Francine Orr – LA Times

As I am growing older and thinking about my life and what I can and can’t do because of my heart condition, and various other physical limitations, I think about our mother and the video Francine crafted, to visually and audibly share mom’s last days.

I miss Mom and I thank the Lord for the time we shared memories together, good and bad. Family was the key for Mom. Nothing is more important than Family! That’s my take-away which Mom gave me, in addition to so many other important life learned lessons. “Family”

Celebrating Selah’s Baptismal BDay

Today is almost over and my thoughts are with my family and how we celebrated Selah’s Baptismal birthday. We sat around the dinner table as usual with each of our plates of food in front of us, with one exception, Selah’s Baptismal candle was setup in front of her just out of her reach. Before we prayed to bless our food, Amy lit the candle and spoke softly to Selah, telling her that the candle represented the light of Jesus and Selah repeated it. What a blessing to be able to participate in this celebration. We blessed our food and as we ate we shared with Selah how her godmother’s mother Judy had sent Mommy a message with words of blessing in memory of that special day and her well wishes for Selah and our family.

It’s a New Beginning

11-28-2023

Just under a week ago I posted I will begin posting regularly. My motivation to share online is due in part, to my continued personal conviction and also the kind words of encouragement from NJE, a close friend, to share my stories.

I have put off posting on my blog, as a regularly scheduled endeavor, until I felt I had all the pieces I needed, now firmly in place.

This is not a complete list but to provide a window in my world, I now have my new awesome MacBook Pro laptop, a new 4 TB external drive with a crazy fast transfer rate required for transferring videos directly from my drone, I’ve been refreshing my use of Adobe software, I.e. Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier, and having my local and cloud data storage infrastructure, my recording format I.e. Apple ProRes for all my visual story formats regardless if in text, photos, and videos.

~~~
My primary consideration in my writings is to include in each message or story, some spiritual underlying quality or feel, but not in a judging or condescending way.
~~~

My personal goal is for my “Legacy writings” or stories, to be an encouraging message to my family, friends and the public, with a loving kindness, one which will be remembered and retold or visited many years after I am gone.

~~~
Father God, I’m sitting at my desk, lift my hands and heart to you this day, my thoughts and prayers for your Holy Spirit to guide me in each message posted, so as to be a blessing, with a clarity of conscience. I pray each day be a strong foundation on which I plan to build on for each consecutive post. My life is in your hands Lord. I pray you mold me and make me to be an instrument you may use to shine your light and love, in Jesus’ name Amen!
My “Webholyman” Blog
In the next days / weeks ahead, I am preparing to launch my “Webholyman Blog”.
The purpose: Primarily, to share thoughts in a story format, to include short video clips and images of my past / present life experiences, current surroundings, and lastly, to obtain feedback from viewers, and provide some “Notes from the Producer”.
Leadership Accountability
In 2022, reviewing the recent events in the US and the key issues we are facing, to include the effects on our culture as well as society and cultures around the world, what we say and do is in direct correlation to how the world reacts in their own countries.
I believe, having had a very controversial former president made to be accountable for his role in causing an insurrection in our country, making false statements and trying to manipulate the laws to suit his attempt to be re-elected, is a demonstration to the other “democratic” countries of leadership accountability and following the legal process over rebellion works and yet allowing citizens to verbalize their opinions freely either way, this is evidence of our free society.
We must continue to pursue these processes which work, remembering how our actions and words make a difference to others around the world, especially to those countries which are still following the older traditions which hinder their culture and society from real growth. This includes education for all citizens, women’s rights, human rights, freedom of religion, preservation of the environment and how to maintain a careful balance for all societal complexities. That leadership accountability includes our President speaking to the UN encouraging the support of any endeavor people and groups from around the world which fight for freedom in their culture and stand in protest. We must stand with them, not forgetting it was very much a struggle for our own independence, many years ago.
In our prayers we ask the Lord to help us to hear the cries of the oppressed!
