1-25-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 🕊️

Romans 8:1

🕊️ Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we shall pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered. 🕊️

Romans 8:26

🕊️ A sick man, who is rich, cannot buy life, when he is dying. With such a short time left brings one to thoughts on all the memories before him. Where has my focus on life taken me? How will I be remembered? Did I make a difference?

So many thoughts to consider, I say live each day as if it were your last! Tell those important to you that you love them, while you still can! Speak words of hope and peace to those around you! Give to someone in need and extend a hand of friendship to the stranger before you. The epicurean seeks joy in what pleasurable things he has or does in his short life, but the spiritual man finds happiness in life daily, because he sees the riches of an everlasting joy, and love, and peace that awaits him. 👀

We all are on a mission, a journey, which has many paths. I pray the life I choose, each step I take, leads me along the path of righteousness, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️

1-24-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

🕊️ “Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

Whoever of you lives life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies. 🕊️

Psalms 34:11-13

With so much debauchery and imprudent messages coming from those who are supposed to lead and protect the people they serve, I am reluctant to join their band or sing their song.

Today, I find myself digging deeper into God’s Holy Word and meditate on His messages of hope and inspiration.

How will I lead my loved ones if my heart is bitter and cold, my hands wringing as I watch the news and hearing more negativity and playing the same hopeless song?

This day I choose to rejoice in the good news of Jesus Christ! I will read from His Words of the hope and comfort which brings me peace and calms my spirit.

Today, I make plans to walk along a path I know will lead me to truth and righteousness. Each step I take brings me ever closer to a deeper relationship with the One who brings me joy and love for life, strengthening my walk as I enter into the light of His presence.

Bless me this day Oh Lord, that I might keep my eyes on you alone, and may I walk in the light, as You lead me, by faith, and filled with Your Spirit in my life and as I journey towards truth.

Thank you Father, for your Love, and sacrificing your son, Jesus Christ, so I might find grace, mercy and peace, for myself, my family, and all those I come across, searching for the answers, in Jesus’ name, Amen 🕊️

1-23-2025 “Hush of Humility”

(from: One minute Prayers for Men)

🕊️ For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that on one can boast. 🕊️

(Ephesians 2:8-9)

God, everything I have is from you.

The faith I hold onto tightly is a gift of Your Grace.

If people see the peace and wholeness of my life, may I never claim responsibility for such things.

I will share about Your mercy.

I will share how Your love transformed me at a time when I could do nothing to help myself.

My dependence on You should shine far brighter than my self-sufficiency.

Let everything I do, say, accomplish, or receive praise for be a reflection of Your gift.

🕊️ Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

These words I pray, the words I write down in my journaling, and share online with others, they are from my heart and it’s a purposeful endeavor driving me.

🕊️ Thank you Lord! 🕊️

1-21-2025 🕊️ Morning Prayers

…For it is God’s will, that by doing ‘good’, you should silence the ignorance of foolish men. 1 Peter 2:15

The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools. Ecclesiastes 9:17

🕊️ Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

Thank you for my sweet bride and our beautiful daughter!

All that we possess and all that we are, they are all blessings from you.

Help me this day Lord. Fill me with your Spirit, and guide me with your unfailing Love, to share words of ‘hope’ and ‘strength’ to those struggling in the dark beside me. May your light shine in and through me this day, in all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️

1-20-2025 Morning prayers

🕊️”Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angel nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,

nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love ❤️ of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.🕊️

Palestinian suffering

Reading a post from my cousin, Robert Corsini

After reading a post by my cousin Robert Corsini, I asked for a response, for his thoughts, what can I do to help make a difference in providing relief for the Palestinian people.

https://www.facebook.com/share/1FTNVCQuy9/?mibextid=wwXIfr

We all can sit in our homes, reading or watching the suffering. We live in peace, without all the noise of war and suffering. I pray daily for God’s intervention in the suffering and I pray for peace. After that, I keep asking myself, “How can I make a difference?“

Two weeks out…

6-3-2024

Sitting in my car just before 8:00 am, in front of my dentist office. While I wait for the doors to be unlocked so I can arrive for my appointment, I’m contemplating all the necessary preparations for our upcoming journey through Turkey and Greece.

I’ve put over $700 in my separate savings, with a goal of having $1,000 cash, in small bills, ($20’s) to bring with me on the trip.

I have purchased some new but selected almost all the clothes I’ll bring on the trip. I’ve contemplated how to present several identification documents for my personal security and how I will carry them.

~~~ Now it is 7 months past our return home from our trip, and still the images are fresh in my mind. The excitement of our life is an ongoing wave of joy and calm. Each new journey is well planned, and each family member considered. My sweet bride is always right beside me, beside our family, always looking for new experiences to grow and witness that joy of life revealed in “Us” as a family. She is selfless and pure in thought, a peaceful calm in the face of the raging sea of life before us, knowing, believing, trusting God will protect us and provide us with a safe path forward each day.
🕊️ Thank you Father, for my lovely bride. May your Spirit continue to bless her daily! May you bless her with wisdom and the comforting words to give each family which comes through the doors of her work, to prepare and providing a memorable and well planned memorial experience. May I always appreciate her and make her feel loved and cared for. May your Spirit continue to guide my steps and fulfill the list of duties expected of me. May I learn to act in unison with our family goals and each well planned activity. It’s a celebration each time she returns home from a days work. We are so blessed with hearing Amy’s voice, as she sings in the band at church each Sunday. Always cheerful, always so positive. What a wonderful life we have together. Thank you Lord!, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️
The Ark Placed in the Tabernacle
1 Chronicles 16:1-36
So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tabernacle that David had erected for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before GJeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made musJeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with cymbals; 6 Benaiah and Jahazielites to minister before the ark of the LORD, to commemorate, to thank, and to praise the LORD God of Israel: 5 Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, then Jeiel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, and Obed-Edom: Jeiel with stringed instruments and harps, but Asaph made music with cymbals; 6 Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests regularly blew the trumpets before the ark of the covenant of God.
7-27-2024 prayers for this day.
Father, God, supplier of all our needs, you are the one and only answer for what we need. As we experience our physical bodies age and become weak, we pray for healing and grasp onto whatever we receive to maintain us for another day.
Help us as we face the physical challenges, give us your wisdom and patience to wait upon you and not be shackled to the demands of the world around us.
Help us oh Lord, Father, as your children, we still need you to guide our way through the dark.
See our hearts Father and judge our motives. Forgive us where we lack the vision to see the answers in front of us.
Guide us with your Holy Spirit and grace. Give us your Peace and grant us oh Lord, the courage to see another day through, in Jesus’ name, Amen!🕊️
7-14-2024 The Way of Love
Lord I pray this day, I may show love to all those around me, from my family and friends whom I worship with in church today, to the stranger I come across while driving, out shopping, or in passing on the street. Fill my heart, mind, and spirit with your love Lord, in Jesus’ name Amen!
The Way of Love – 1 Corinthians 13
1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. 11 When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
It’s a New Beginning
11-28-2023
Just under a week ago I posted I will begin posting regularly. My motivation to share online is due in part, to my continued personal conviction and also the kind words of encouragement from NJE, a close friend, to share my stories.
I have put off posting on my blog, as a regularly scheduled endeavor, until I felt I had all the pieces I needed, now firmly in place.
This is not a complete list but to provide a window in my world, I now have my new awesome MacBook Pro laptop, a new 4 TB external drive with a crazy fast transfer rate required for transferring videos directly from my drone, I’ve been refreshing my use of Adobe software, I.e. Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premier, and having my local and cloud data storage infrastructure, my recording format I.e. Apple ProRes for all my visual story formats regardless if in text, photos, and videos.
~~~

My primary consideration in my writings is to include in each message or story, some spiritual underlying quality or feel, but not in a judging or condescending way.

~~~
My personal goal is for my “Legacy writings” or stories, to be an encouraging message to my family, friends and the public, with a loving kindness, one which will be remembered and retold or visited many years after I am gone.
~~~

Father God, I’m sitting at my desk, lift my hands and heart to you this day, my thoughts and prayers for your Holy Spirit to guide me in each message posted, so as to be a blessing, with a clarity of conscience. I pray each day be a strong foundation on which I plan to build on for each consecutive post. My life is in your hands Lord. I pray you mold me and make me to be an instrument you may use to shine your light and love, in Jesus’ name Amen!

Leadership Accountability

In 2022, reviewing the recent events in the US and the key issues we are facing, to include the effects on our culture as well as society and cultures around the world, what we say and do is in direct correlation to how the world reacts in their own countries.

I believe, having had a very controversial former president made to be accountable for his role in causing an insurrection in our country, making false statements and trying to manipulate the laws to suit his attempt to be re-elected, is a demonstration to the other “democratic” countries of leadership accountability and following the legal process over rebellion works and yet allowing citizens to verbalize their opinions freely either way, this is evidence of our free society.

We must continue to pursue these processes which work, remembering how our actions and words make a difference to others around the world, especially to those countries which are still following the older traditions which hinder their culture and society from real growth. This includes education for all citizens, women’s rights, human rights, freedom of religion, preservation of the environment and how to maintain a careful balance for all societal complexities. That leadership accountability includes our President speaking to the UN encouraging the support of any endeavor people and groups from around the world which fight for freedom in their culture and stand in protest. We must stand with them, not forgetting it was very much a struggle for our own independence, many years ago.

In our prayers we ask the Lord to help us to hear the cries of the oppressed!

Prayer for a mind of service

It’s a serious choice to consider when my service is required helping others around me. For some it is easy and yet for others it is a struggle. I have seen God work in my life many times, and just when I needed it most. So as I witness and experience this time of struggle happening all around me, with all ages of people suffering, I feel God’s Spirit directing my spirit to serve, without judgement, where it is needed or required of me. In my case it is with my family here at home. It is as a teacher to my daughter, a helper to my sweet bride and our aging mother’s care.

“…To a graceless neck the yoke of Christ is intolerable, but to the saved sinner it is easy and light. We may judge ourselves by this: do we love that yoke, or do we wish to cast it off? Psalms 2:3”

For me this day, I pray, Lord help me to serve those in need around me. I pray your Spirit guide my steps, with a willing heart, for service and your Loving care. Teach me to be selfless and remind me of the many blessings I already receive from you daily. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

“Words” spoken/written…life and love shared

In my retirement I have made little effort to spend time journaling, which at best, is the only way to extrude my sentiment and charm as my loved ones know it. I want readers of my words to know, I believe, not all of it comes from shared experience or sentiment. I have been inspired by the Spirit within me to message out the deeper meaning behind my learned experiences, and how I believe there has always been a presence with me, one of greater care or concern for my life than I myself deemed necessary. One of my greatest champions of the oratory mastery of words and sentiment is Charles Spurgeon. In beginning my deeper journey into writing I have fancied his writings about the Word of God, and its interpretation, to be the closest to my faithful study, bereft the effort he put in its defining. Needless to say, because of this fact, I begin with a quote below from his writings on the book of Psalms, volume I.

“It is written* must of necessity apply to words, for only words are written. Those words which the Holy Spirit teaches are, however, by no means to be regarded as mere words, for besides their office of conserving the inner meaning, as the shell preserves the mystic germ within the egg, they are themselves spirit and life…”

In recent days and facing some health concerns, I realized it’s time, I needed to begin writing while the opportunity allows and before that window of time passes and I become too complacent with the life I’ve lived and lack the effort required. My life is so full of activity, although having a little one to care for, at my age, has in no way diminished my capacity to write, despite the energy it takes to “keep up.” My heart is so full and my spirit alive, with thought and purpose, my sweet bride Amy and daughter Selah have had so great an impact on my life journey, no doubt this journal will include them much of the time. Because of my age (63) it is for them that I write, to provide a look back, a place filled with memorable times and experiences. My mother was very forthcoming with her life journey and walks in the past, however, it is my father who was the classic ‘closed book’ and his thoughts to date remain a mystery. It is for that reason I choose to find the time and effort to provide a legacy for my loved ones. I thank my Lord Jesus Christ for my life, being surrounded by His Spirit and comfort, and my family I love beside me, which make my journaling possible.

Blessings to my readers…
