Thank you for my sweet bride and our lovely child.
All that we are and possess are from Your blessings in our lives.
Thank You O Lord!

🕊️ “If you would prepare your heart,
And stretch out your hands toward Him;
If iniquity were in your hand, and you put it far away,
And would not let wickedness dwell in your tents;
Then surely you could lift up your face without spot;
Yes, you could be steadfast, and not fear;
Because you would forget your misery,
And remember it as waters that have passed away,
And your life would be brighter than noonday.
Though you were dark, you would be like the morning.
And you would be secure, because there is hope;
Yes, you would dig around you, and take your rest in safety. 🕊️
Job 11:13-18
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Father I rise my head up to You with anticipation and the hope within me, I sense Your presence in my life. You are always there, Your tender mercies and forgiveness never end. Likewise, Father, may Your Spirit teach me to do the same with those around me and those You lead into my life. May Your Spirit guide my steps and plant my feet on solid ground. Help me to keep on the path of righteousness and free from all sin, from without and from within.
May Your Spirit bless me with godly wisdom, and guide me on my journey as I follow You. keep me on my path, especially when I begin to waver. Help me to seek true Love, for myself, and for all others I encounter. Help me to see Father! Remove the scales from my eyes so I might truly see, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 🕊️
Hebrews 11:6
🕊️ Therefore, my brethren, you also have become dead to the law through the body of Christ, that you may be married to another—to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. 🕊️
Romans 7:4
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride and our lovely child!
Where we go in this life, from day to day, my prayer is that we might shine Your light in the darkness around us, for we know and can see the things which are not of the Lord, but also through His grace, mercy and forgiveness, He has given us sight into Loving all people, regardless of their state of mind or lifestyle. I pray Lord, you make the way before us, before me, clear and filled with purpose. Fill me with Your Spirit Father, and grant me heavenly wisdom in all things, in Jesus’ name Amen!
🕊️ If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.
But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. 🕊️
Colossians 3:1-11
“Freedom isn’t free!” It’s an expression many have given meaning to its use. The root of its meaning is the cost of that freedom and what it takes or took for that freedom to become a reality. This is a journey which each of us must begin with recognizing the past and how that freedom replaces the behavior of past with a new present and new behavior, a new path to follow to a brighter future.
🕊️ Today, I’m using, “Freedom isn’t free!” in the context of our spirituality!
God gives us many scriptures, as read clearly above saying, “Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.” And “put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.” These are not just clues, but direct, clear, and concise meaning to being, “Spiritually Free”, free from the human condition of self and self-seeking. Jesus offers us a new Way, as outlined clearly in His Word. Many who choose not to hear His Word, cannot be free because their mind’s eye is on self, rather than the creator, Jesus Christ, who has opened up the door to our true freedom.
John 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
🕊️ All we need to do is follow You! Help me Lord, this day, to follow You! Help me to become more like You, in all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️
🕊️ Two are better than one, because they have a better return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! A threefold cord is not easily broken. 🕊️
Ecclesiastes 4: 9-10, 12
🕊️ Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband. 🕊️
Ephesians 5:25-33
~~~~~~~
Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride, whom you’ve blessed me in so many ways. Before I followed the Way, when I lived in my flesh, twice I married and twice I was divorced, in part because of infidelity, and in part, because there was no Love in the marriages. It was hollow and empty and dark.
And after giving up a desire for a friend and partner in this life, someone to love and be loved in return, that is when you blessed me with my sweet bride, my Amy!
There are no words to describe the love I have experienced with her. For going on 27 years now. I feel we are as one flesh, truly one in love and all matters in this life together, Thank you Father!
When I was alone and broken, when all my children hated me and looked on me with contempt, when I looked everywhere for the right person to trust with what remained of my broken heart, I found no one. When I was ready to just lay down and die, when I wasn’t looking, there she was Lord! When I stopped searching, when my focus became only filling my life and every thought with serving You and walking in the light, that’s when You sent her to me, my sweet bride!
My journey in this life was filled with tragedy, so much hurt and pain, so many broken memories. When I cried out to you to for healing and comfort, You sent her to me. She has become my everything. So thank you Father! Now after all this time together, I can’t seem to remember the hurt and pain of the past. The Love within me now has caused my heart to swell, replacing the emptiness and darkness with Your light and Your love to comfort me and hold me up. You sent me a woman, a wife, a friend, a soulmate. And in our promise to each other, our one goal, to help the other be successful and focus on the other with love. Thank you Father! 🕊️
🕊️ For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. 🕊️
Hebrews 4:15, 16
🕊️ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 🕊️
Philippians 4:6, 7
Thank you Lord for the freedom you gave me, no longer shackled to the guilt of my past without consequence of conscience. I pray daily for the opportunity to use the light You place within me and shine through me to be a guide for others who have struggled as I have. This is a life goal. I never again want to wander aimlessly in the dark, without love and without conscience, in Jesus’ name Amen!
🕊️ Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. 🕊️
Colossians 3:12-17
Father, God, I pray with all humility in my heart, May You make me an instrument of your grace and forgiveness, help me to understand each of these words you list for me to follow. Not from an understanding from a dictionary, rather from the heart. I pray Your Spirit fill me and guide me in my endeavor for truth, about myself and how my actions and behavior affects others, and how I might change. Grant me the wisdom to see the truth, as it’s revealed and not be compared with or blinded by denial and half truths. May Your Spirit fill me this day and may I walk in the light with you in all good conscience, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ Thank you for my sweet bride and our baby girl!
🕊️ Thank you for Your many blessings, all that we have and possess are from You.
🕊️ May your light shine upon us this day, in and through all we say and do, and may Your angels guard over us and keep us safe, in Jesus’ name Amen! 🕊️
🕊️ Teacher me to do Your will, for You are my God;
May Your good Spirit lead me on solid ground. 🕊️
Psalms 143:10
🕊️ Then He said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must put aside your selfish ambition, shoulder your cross daily, and follow me. If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life!” 🕊️
Luke 9:23-24
Lord, where You lead I will follow. I pray You will take me from the slippery slope of my way and direct me towards the level landscape of Your will. Each day I want to seek Your teaching.
Let the lessons You have for me be apparent in the moment You are presenting them. Where I can learn from my past, please help me reflect on those times and heal so I can be whole, and ready to receive whatever is next.
🕊️ Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. 🕊️
Psalms 139:23-24
🕊️ Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. 🕊️
Philippians 1:6
🕊️ Most assuredly I say to you, he who believes in me, the works that I do He will do also; and greater works than these He will do, because I go to my Father. 🕊️
John 14:12
Do I offend You in any way Lord? When I read the Old Testament, it seems Your followers were eager to have their hearts known and their evil ways pointed out. Call me to this place of willingness, God, I am reluctant to know my faults, so it is difficult to ask you to make them apparent. Yet I want to be a healthy, informed servant so I can be led.
So lead me Lord, to the way everlasting. Along the journey, reveal to me the secrets of my heart that even I do not know. Unveil the sins that keep me from better days.
This journey which each of us must take in this life, it is full of challenges and wonder. To see all the possibilities one can achieve and have it only a wish away, a faithful step in the direction we wish to go, in order to achieve our dreams, and accomplish our goals. Yes, the challenges are present and some are not, but the journey through the discovery is worth the trip. As Your children Lord, in this life you have brought us into, I pray, as we each walk into the future of our dreams, lead us I pray, along the path which keeps us close to Your goals for us as Your children. May Your light and Love shine upon us, in and through all we say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️
🕊️ Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it. 🕊️
1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
🕊️ But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 🕊️
2 Peter 3:8-9
Good Morning Father, thank You for this day!
Thank You for my life!
Thank You for my sweet bride and our beautiful daughter.
All that we are and possess, are Your blessings in our lives.
Bless us this day O Lord! May Your Spirit rest upon us, upon me Lord!
May I see everything I encounter this day, through Your loving eyes and not my own.
Help me Father, as I stumble through the day, please take my hand and lead me on the righteous path of peace and Love, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ “And do not seek what you should eat or what you should drink, nor have an anxious mind. For all these things the nations of the world seek after, and your Father knows that you need these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added to you. 🕊️
Luke 12:29-31
🕊️ He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. And therefore “it was accounted to him for righteousness.” 🕊️
Romans 4:20-21
Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my family!
Lord, all that we have and all that we are, comes from Your blessings in our life. Thank you Lord! 🕊️
Every day we find challenges we are faced with and may we always put You first in our responses, in words and actions, and may Your angels guard over us and keep us safe, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
🕊️ For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ. 🕊️
Colossians 2:5
🕊️ For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. 🕊️
Hebrews 4:15-16
🕊️ For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away. When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child,
I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face.
Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. 🕊️
1 Corinthians 13:9-12
Father, I lift my hands heavenward this day, seeking your Spirit of wisdom and comfort. I feel the days are dark and reaches for me, to pull me into its grasp, a path of confusion and chaos, words of doubt, suspicion, lies, and aimless wandering. I am exhausted with the noise of confusion all around me, like a rip tide pulling at me and at times I struggle just to keep close to shore.
I fight the good fight of faith and it remains, and I walk in the light, because You are in the Light and Your Spirit lives in me. Help me O Lord, to maintain a child like mind, hearing and understanding Your basic truths as You laid out for my life. May I follow the Words of Faith, Hope, and Love, always. May Your Words echo in my mind on my journey today, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ “Yet from the days of your fathers you have gone away from my ordinances and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. 🕊️
Malachi’s 3:7a
🕊️ If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleans us from all unrighteousness. 🕊️
1 John 1:9
🕊️ the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 🕊️
Colossians 1 10-12
God, I praise you for the life You have given me. When it bears fruit, it is because Your power has made it capable of goodness. If a pleasing harvest is brought forth from my life, I have energy and health in my body and spirit. I feel the power of You moving through me and my circumstances in order to bring Your plan to fruition.
My inheritance is a bountiful landscape. And in times of drought, I don’t need to ask whether to continue working the fields. You call me to be strong…but not strong and alone, for I have Your power in my life to carry me through all seasons.
…And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride!
Thank you for our beautiful child!
All that we have and possess, they are all blessings from you O Lord!
I Love my Life!
Every day I stand in awe as I meditate on my day going forward, because you are with me!
In my flesh I feel my body aging and the effects of all the injuries sustained a lifetime ago working in demolition and construction. The wear and tear on my body nags at me. The arthritis in me, to describe it; its like trying to walk with a blister on the bottom of my foot, each step I take there is somewhere in my body that feels the pain; or reaching to pick up something very small with my fingers, yet with limited feeling it challenges me, or trying to bend or stretch and I cringe with joint pain. It’s always there and regardless of the meds I take to help me endure it, I still feel it but I am able to move on in spite of it because of my goals for the day, they are clear and I’m focused on completing them, regardless of my limitations, regardless of the pain. I pursue each moment with a goal of the prize of accomplishment, no matter how small the task. I find it easy when i just focus, not on how in my younger days I could do it faster and better, I train my focus instead, simply on the task in front of me, on its completion, as a goal, and once reached, in my mind I am raising one arm with a clenched fist in the air, then pulling it down quickly by my side, yelling with delight, “Yes!”
Father, I sense Your presence with me in all I plan to accomplish and wherever I go. Your Word in me is my light and the life of my very soul. When I am in my flesh, having a challenging day, or am faced with something which catches me off guard, even when I give in to my weakness and respond verbally in a fleshly manner, yet I still feel Your presence, Your Spirit, gently pulling me back to my walk of faith. Its because I know I am washed in the blood of Christ, I feel as that child who falls down and gets dirty I feel You there picking me up and dusting me off from the soil from my fall, again and again!
You are always with me, everywhere I turn, I feel You are there with me, like a child playing with his father watching close by, keeping him safe. This is my day, and I thank you Lord for it. I feel You with me with each moment, each breath of air I take, thank you again, for my life this day.
🕊️ And I, brethren, when I came to you, I did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 🕊️
1 Corinthians 2:1-5
🕊️ Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. 🕊️
Romans 15:13
Father God, fill me with Your Spirit this day! When I speak, may I hear an echo of my words and a clear understand of their meaning. May I always be mindful of others around me, not seeking to offend or judge, but to be a positive voice, hoping to provide encouragement and strength, love and peace, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 🕊️
John 14:27
🕊️Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 🕊️
Romans 5:1
🕊️For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 🕊️
Romans 8:6
I’m afraid to take my eyes off You Lord, because I know and have lived my early days, following after the works of the flesh alone, no matter how gratifying it was, I know now it is temporal and it left behind an emptiness in me, one which was impossible to fill, no matter how much I would feed it.
When I have my eyes on You O Lord, I still have my struggles in this life, I still feel the works of the flesh pulling at me, but I have confidence now and strength, knowing the path of faith and believing, which I now follow, I find His perfect peace of mind and conscience. I sense Your presence Lord, with me and inside of me, leading me and I no longer walk alone.
Thank you for this day O Lord!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride!
Thank you for our beautiful daughter!
Thank you for all the blessings You provide daily, and may your Spirit fill my heart this day and may Your light shine in and through all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ So, if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?
And if you have not been trustworthy, with someone else’s property, who will give you property of your own? 🕊️
Luke 16:11-12
🕊️ You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You. 🕊️
Isaiah 26:3
Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride!
Thank you for my beautiful daughter!
You’ve truly shown us Your Grace and Your Mercy, in all things. You’ve blessed us with all that we need or can want to live in peace and enjoy our lives together, and I sense the presence of Your Spirit in our midst.
I pray you fill each of us with Your Spirit this day, cleanse us from the sin that is at our door constantly, may we be mindful of Your great Love for each of us, as we are, and guide us to be good stewards of the blessings You give. May we honor You with all that we have and share with others always, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ We then who are strong ought to bear with the scruples of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification. For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell on Me.”
For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope. Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 🕊️
Romans 15:4-5
🕊️ What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 🕊️
Luke 9:25
The days pass quickly, and year by year, as my knowledge and understanding of God’s Word becomes clear, their value to me is more than all I have or can possess!
I pray this day Father, may i use this time I have with my family, with my sweet daughter, to impart Your Word and such wisdom I never had when I was young. Fill me with Your Spirit O Lord, and guide me in sharing these pearls, when they will best be received, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
Nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you;
But the LORD will be to you an everlasting light,
And your God your glory.
Your sun shall no longer go down,
Nor shall your moon withdraw itself;
For the LORD will be your everlasting light,
And the days of your mourning shall be ended.
Also your people shall all be righteous;
They shall inherit the land forever,
The branch of My planting,
The work of My hands,
That I may be glorified. 🕊️
Isaiah 60:19-21
Good morning Father!
Thank you for this day!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride!
Thank you for our beautiful child!
Lord You are the source of all our blessings and all good things. We work to hold our head up high, not with pride, but with honor that comes with a life and walk of faith.
Keep me O Lord, in line with Your will for my life. Push, tug and lead me on my life journey, that I may always walk in Your light which directs my path, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️He who ignores discipline, despises himself, but whoever heeds correction gains understanding.
The fear of the Lord teaches a man wisdom, and humility comes before honor. 🕊️
Proverbs 15:32-33
🕊️Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! 🕊️
Psalms 27:14
🕊️ Be of good courage, And He will strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord. 🕊️
Psalms 31:24
I believe deeply, that the Lord hears all my prayers. And as insignificant as I may feel at times, when I see all the world around me is on fire, when nothing makes sense, when the words of truth from our leaders is a lie, I still have hope.
I pray for His strength, and for His Spirit to fill my heart with “Courage” to face the day in front of me. Help me O Lord, to wait on You and the answer to my prayers to be revealed. May I walk in patience and may I hold my tongue, allowing God’s Spirit to work in me, so then I can see clearly in the day.
May I meet the challenge of waiting for my hope in the night, to bring forth the fruit of my prayers coming forth into the light. Help me to wait on You O Lord, in Jesus’ name, Amen! 🕊️
🕊️ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.🕊️
Philippians 4:6, 13
🕊️ Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes.
You shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 🕊️
Deuteronomy 11:18-19
Thank you for this day Father!
Thank you for my life!
Thank you for my sweet bride!
Thank you for our baby girl!
Bless our children this day Lord! May Your light shine upon them, in and through all they say and do.
May they find your Words and examples of faith, love, and kindness towards others, and may your angels guard over them and keep them safe, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ May the Lord God be with us as He was with our fathers; may He never leave us nor forsake us.
May He turn our hearts to Him, to walk in all His ways and to keep the commands, decrees, and regulations He gave our fathers. 🕊️
1 Kings 8:57-58
🕊️ Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.🕊️
II Corinthians 1:3, 4
You are the God of my Fathers and those men which never knew you Lord, nor followed your ways. But there were a few men in my life, some of which I count as mentors.
I thank you for the gift of salvation that ties me to the generations of your followers before me. I know it is not the blood of my family lineage that makes me who I am, but the blood of Christ.
God, You gave me a heart that beats so strong, hoping and praying daily for my children, that Your love in my heart for You, resounds in them. Let my legacy be one of faith. Hear my prayers Oh Lord, may your Spirit rest in them, that they will experience your pure love for them and show them how they are special in Your eyes. May my children come to know You Lord, and put You first in their lives always, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ Do not judge and you will not be judged. Do not condemn and you will not be condemned. Forgive and you will be forgiven. Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 🕊️
Luke 6:37-38
🕊️ Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. 🕊️
Philippians 4:6-7
🕊️ Therefore, putting away lying, Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitter bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. 🕊️
Ephesians 4:25-32
I find myself often, remembering these passage in scripture, holding them true in my heart, like an anchor, holding me fast, convicting me and reminding me daily, of my struggle not to stray from the path set before me, standing on and leaning on the promises of my God, who freely gives to those who love Him and follow His Word.
Lord, I pray this day, for your forgiveness of my sin and for my weakness, pride and arrogance. When I feel righteous indignation, help me Lord to turn that to Love and forgiveness instead, so that I might stand before you cleansed and ready to serve, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever. 🕊️
Psalms 23:1-6
🕊️ Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you.” 🕊️
Hebrews 1:3-5
Good morning Father!
Thank You for this day!
Thank You for my life!
Thank You for my sweet bride!
Thank you for our daughter!
All that I have and all that I am Lord, I feel I have been richly blessed. May Your Spirit guide me this day, and may Your light shine upon me and my family, in all we say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Though an army may camp against me, my heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me, in this I will be confident. 🕊️
Psalms 27:1, 3
🕊️ Listen to my cry, for I am in desperate need; rescue me from those who pursue me, for they are too strong for me.
Set me free from my prison, that I might praise Your name. 🕊️
Psalms 142:6-7
My enemies might not resemble those faced by biblical warriors, but I do have enemies. There are attackers of my time, my well-being, my happiness.
The quest for money, jealousy, blind ambition, reckless talk…these enemies stalk my spirit and wear it down. I feel the oppression in my gut.
Some of these enemies were as familiar as friends and family, so it was hard to turn from them. I realize I have not moved far enough away and I’m vulnerable.
Help me O Lord, use Your strength to fight these lurking foes. Arm me with Your Word, Your truth, and Your peace.
🕊️ For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the firstborn of many brethren.
What then shall we say to these things?
If God is for us, who can be against us?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
As it is written: “For your sake we are killed all day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 🕊️
Romans:8:29, 31, 35-39
Thank you Father, for your love for me, for my family and everyone else on this planet, for you have given us grace and forgiveness through Your son Jesus Christ. Forgive me Father, where I fall short, and may Your Spirit guide my steps this day, and may Your light shine, in all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.” 🕊️
Psalms 91:2
🕊️ Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge, Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; For He shall give His angels charge over you, To keep you in all your ways. 🕊️
Psalms 91:9-11
Thank You for this day Lord!
Thank You for my life!
Thank You Lord, for my sweet bride!
Thank You Father, for our beautiful daughter.
All that we have and all that we are, it’s because of Your blessings in our lives, Your grace when we need healing, and Your mercy daily in keeping us from all harm.
🕊️ So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor.
For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 🕊️
1 Corinthians 3:7-9
Thank you for this day Lord!
Thank you for my Life!
May the fruit of my labor be acceptable in your eyes Lord!
May You give me purpose in growing in knowledge of your Word and may I share the reward of what I harvest with my loved ones and my fellow man, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
🕊️ Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death of the cross.
Philippians 2:5-8
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes all of you be submissive, to one another, and be clothed with humility,
for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.
1 Peter 5:5, 6
When I was young I was let down by my father, always abused by him, and I was severely bullied by many when in my primary development years in school.
Then when I was 12, I began attending junior high school, which was a fresh start where no one knew me. I was determined not to be bullied ever again, so the first kid who said something mean to me or acted tough, I punched so hard in his nose, it began to bleed everywhere!
I was taken to the principal’s office, I was told I would be suspended for three days, then he opened a drawer where he kept a large paddle with holes in it. When he pulled it out, he told me I was going to receive my punishment of three swats.
I was not afraid of the pain, especially since my father regularly pulled off his thick heavy belt and hit me with it many times almost daily. I was conditioned to it!
From that point on, the whole school heard what I did and no one ever spoke mean to me or tried to bully me, ever, without receiving my punishment on them.
This carried on into my high school years, where it became my mission not to be bullied but more so, not to allow others to be bullied. I began to challenge bullies and I would pick fights with anyone who bullied others who were smaller or timid or weak.
The scriptures I wrote above hit me hard when I first read them, because when I was young, I had become so hard, a fighter, a drunkard and a blasphemer of the proud. I was on a path of self-destruction.
In reading the Word of God I figured, if Jesus had mighty powers to defend himself, or have His angels fight for Him, yet instead, He suffered insults, verbal abuse, beatings and torture, in order to make a way for me to truly be free and live, then I was all in! 👀
I began reading His Word with a passion, hungry for guidance and direction on how to use these new tools provided. I found the more I followed His word and the path of “Faith,” the more I felt humbled and my spirit fed. My whole world had changed quickly, once my eyes were opened. Thank you Lord!
I found encouragement and strength, by reading the Word, helped me to make a choice, to do the right thing, where I once rebelled and lashed out, I began learning how humility was a good thing, and it has blessed me, beyond measure ever since.
My trials and challenges were always met with the forces of strength and patience and peace, which my Heavenly Father and my God provides. I feel He is with me in and through all my days, as a choice, to follow in darkness, or to walk in the light, to guide my way.
Although I am still challenged daily, in my reading God’s Word, helps me to be disciplined to remain that way, always.
🕊️ Show me, Oh Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life. You have made my days a mere hand breath; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man’s life is but a breath.
Psalms 39:4-5
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.” 🕊️
Isaiah 43:1
Thank you for my life Lord!
I am old and although I feel young, as I look through the memories of the challenges I have experienced, they are many.
As I see and hear the stories of so many nations and people, like me, created in God’s image, and all the accomplishments man has achieved and left behind. Not one of God’s creation has ever been forgotten by Him, by our God!
I love my life and All my children and grandchildren, however brief a time I had experienced with / without them.
I will never forget their names or my love for them. And yet, they all may have forgotten me altogether, as I never hear from them or read any email or text message from them. Regardless, every morning in my morning prayers, I mention each of them by name. I hold them up before my Heavenly Father, asking for His Spirit to watch over them and keep them safe. I ask for the light of His Spirit shine in and through all they say and do.
I do this because I know and really believe my Father loves me too and I am special to Him. He tells me in His Word, which never changes, that He will never leave me or forsake me, that brings me pure peace, always. Although I may be insignificant in my world and no one will remember me, and although my life is so short and my time on this rock may be but a breath, I breath it in faith and belief, according to His Word: Hebrews 12:1 says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.” Thus I am filled with Joy daily, focused not on what I was or leave behind, who will remember me, but rather I’m looking to the day of my redemption, standing in the presence of my Savior and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ!
🕊️ Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. 🕊️
James 1:12-13
If we are a kind of first fruit of His labor, boy it’s taken Him a lot of patience and love, to care for that garden. I can imaging what He means about having “weeds” sown amongst the good seed. We see this daily amongst our children and even more so amongst adults in and around us on every side!
Our challenge, is not always straight forward and may yet await us at any moment. Our Father has seen the plight of His creation, and our only desire is to please ‘Self’, and how we are a stiff-necked people.
So, given now that He put His Laws in our hearts and minds to follow, we should know better, yet we still have fallen short of being His firstfruit 🍎 or best effort.
I’ve lost 2 sons now and I know grief!
I can only imagine how our Father and our Creator grieved, giving up His only son, so we might find adoption as His children, and we might seek and find Him in and amongst the weeds, and live.
Thank you Lord, for Your sacrifice to give us hope, and Your patience and Your Love, paving a path for us back to paradise with you. May we shine Your light this day, in and through all we say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
