Your word is a lamp to my feet

And a light to my path.

I have sworn and confirmed

That I will keep Your righteous judgments.

I am afflicted very much;

Revive me, O LORD, according to Your word.

Accept, I pray, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD,

And teach me Your judgments.

My life is continually in my hand,

Yet I do not forget Your law.

The wicked have laid a snare for me,

Yet I have not strayed from Your precepts.

Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever,

For they are the rejoicing of my heart.

I have inclined my heart to perform Your statutes

Forever, to the very end. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

Psalms 119:105-112

Good morning Father!

Thank You for this day!

Thank You for my life!

Thank You for my sweet bride!

Thank You for my beautiful daughter!

All that I am and all that I possess, they are blessings from You O Lord!

Thank You!

I Praise God for all things!

Lord I walk in Your Way, and I praise You for Your mighty creation and the miracle of life all around us.

I pray Lord, may I serve You today in my morning prayers, in my worship, in my studying Your Word, and in all I put my hand to accomplish this day.

Bless me and my family Father, as we travel to visit my other family members, in celebration of Your birth and to give gifts. I pray You bless my brother and his family, with Your Spirit and Your Teacher, may they find You during the storms in their lives and in the days of Joy and blessing. May our time together be blessed and build strength in our Faith together.

Lord, I lift up All my family before You today, I lift up All my children, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren and the one I call daughter, may they each receive the gifts you have for them to receive this day, may they become Your children of the light and of the Way, may they be blessed and may Your angels keep watch over them and keep them safe.

Bless me today in my preparation, may I not forget anything I need to pack for our journey, may Your angels guard our path and keep us safe, may we all be filled with Your Spirit, in our conversations, in our songs, in our meditations of our visit with our loved ones, may we bring glory to Your holy name, in all we say and do, in Jesusโ€™ name, Amen!

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Let no one say when he is tempted, โ€œI am tempted by Godโ€; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

James 1:12-13

If we are a kind of first fruit of His labor, boy itโ€™s taken Him a lot of patience and love, to care for that garden. I can imaging what He means about having โ€œweedsโ€ sown amongst the good seed. We see this daily amongst our children and even more so amongst adults in and around us on every side!

Our challenge, is not always straight forward and may yet await us at any moment. Our Father has seen the plight of His creation, and our only desire is to please โ€˜Selfโ€™, and how we are a stiff-necked people.

So, given now that He put His Laws in our hearts and minds to follow, we should know better, yet we still have fallen short of being His firstfruit ๐ŸŽ or best effort.

Iโ€™ve lost 2 sons now and I know grief!

I can only imagine how our Father and our Creator grieved, giving up His only son, so we might find adoption as His children, and we might seek and find Him in and amongst the weeds, and live.

Thank you Lord, for Your sacrifice to give us hope, and Your patience and Your Love, paving a path for us back to paradise with you. May we shine Your light this day, in and through all we say and do, in Jesusโ€™ name, Amen!

1-27-2025 ๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ Morning Prayers

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there.

But wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gently, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and hypocrisy.

Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ

James 3:16-18

Good morning Father!

Thank you for this day!

Thank you for my life!

Thank you for all the blessings you rain on me and my family each day. Thank you for watching over us and keeping us safe! May your light shine in and through me and my family this day, in all we say and do!

Lord, as I go about my day, help me to be watching for those who need a healing word. Help me to listen to the needs being expressed around me. At work or in leisure, guide me to listen to what individuals are saying beneath the conversation. Is their life difficult right now? Are they excited about a recent joyful event?

Every conversation I have with another person is important! Help me oh Lord, to speak words of encouragement and love, in the exchange of friendly banter or deep discussion about faith and lifeโ€ฆthey all matter, because these connect me with other beings created in Your image.

Remind me oh Lord, to be an encourager, in Jesusโ€™ name, Amen!
