May all the distractions be behind me and my mind focused on following what’s most important to me in this life, to walk in the spirit, as a child of the light, a messenger of Love through acts of kindness, sharing kind words with my loved ones and strangers alike.

Spirit, Teacher, be my guide. Help me Father, to learn humility and to listen first before thinking, help my understanding and help me see through the fog of man’s world and help me focus on what is real.

May my eyes be opened up to truly see and understand my surroundings and the actions of man, the words they speak and help me to see through to the root of the matter.

Bless me this day O Lord, may I walk this day in the newness of life, as I did many years ago, the day I decided to drop what I was doing and follow You with my whole heart, mind, and soul!

🕊️ I remember the call:

I was 21 years old, living with my brother Mike, a quadriplegic, as his caregiver.  I remember he had first been read the Word, about thirty days before, by the man who drove the handicap bus to and from college, Tim Sewell.

I waited and watched daily, as he would come home, Tim always dropped off the others on the bus and brought Mike home last, so he could share the Word with him and disciple him.

I witnessed them reading quietly together in the corner of our living room or just outside our front door in a small courtyard. Their voices were just above a whisper.

I only heard little bits of their reading but I saw them praying and my brother’s attentive behavior as they were together.

After the first few days my brother first met with Tim and he drove away, I asked Mike if he wanted to smoke a joint with me, something we did often together.

My brother told me how he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and he wasn’t going to do that any more. He share that with me but I was not convinced.

Then after about thirty days of smoking my joints alone, i felt I was losing my smoking and partying brother.

Not long after, witnessing them sharing the Word together in our courtyard, as I was sitting at my coffee table, with my glass of JD (Jack Daniels) and preparing to roll a joint to smoke, I just felt that call to hear more, so I got up and went out into the courtyard, asking them if I could join them.

”Sure”, was the response. I can’t remember exactly, if it was then and there I changed my life too, but it was then I realized what they had was real and I wanted the same. So I too decided to accept Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Mike and I became closer that ever before, we began to share God’s Word most of our waking hours together, we were so excited!

Thank You Lord for my brother and Tim for bringing the Good News to our home.

I lift up All my children before You today Lord, my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren, may Your Holy Spirit call to them and may they come to know You and accept You as their Lord and Savior, as I have.

May they receive the gifts You have for them and may they become children of the light and walk in Faith, believing in Your Word, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

I am so blessed this day, to read God’s Word and as I see and hear them they become vivid reality of the work still being done today, in all believers in service to You O Lord,

May we be filled with Your Spirit today and share Your Holy Word, Your mission given to man, to Love one another and live peaceable amongst all men, to live that witness of Truth, and a life of devotion to Jesus Christ, our Lord, our Savior, our Redeemer.

Use me O Lord, to reach the lost who live in the dark, those of Your children who have lost their way and cannot find a way back, may I share a kind word with them and open the door to their Salvation, by Faith and believing on the name of Jesus Christ and point them to You in following Your Way.

In my readings of Your Word Lord, I have come to see and know Your Love, through Your teaching.

You did not come for those who have their act together, but for those who are falling apart.

Your Word gives me the tools I need, to use them for the work of the mission for which I am called, to live by Your life examples of Love daily, a reminder You came into this world for those who are sick, poor and lost.

Thank You for showing me Your Truth and where I have failed to understand Your True purpose for my life.

Now Your Word guides me into the ministry of sharing Your Word, Your Love, Your understanding and compassion for all mankind, especially the lost and dying.  

I pray I may be more like You every day Lord, may my Understanding increase and True Wisdom fall from my lips, into the ears of those who need to hear it.

May Your Holy Spirit light my path in the darkness around me and my eyes open to see You in all things.

I am a child of the light, shinning the light of God into the darkness of this world, Im not one but many, not alone but walking in the Spirit of God, with His angels keeping watch over me, my life is marked as His, I am His servant, and perfectly made in and through Jesus Christ who lifted me up out of the darkness into the light, no longer a slave to sin and a life filled with debauchery, bitterness, shame and guilt.

I rise each day in the light and welcome whatever challenges that come my way, I know You are with me Lord, Your Spirit guides my way and comforts me in my sorrow, heals me from any sickness, and fills me with Your Word, Your Teacher, providing me with Wisdom and Understanding, through Your Word Father, and Your daily blessings on my life, as Your son.

🕊️ God’s Righteousness Through Faith

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe.

For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed, to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 🕊️

My Lord and my God, Thank You for Your Grace, Mercy, and Your unending Love, for me and my family.

I praise You in the morning and in the evening as I lay my head on my pillow, looking for another day to shine the light You have given me, into the darkness around me.

I look forward to hearing good report from All those I lift up in prayer; All my children, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren, my friends and fellow parishioners, the stranger on the side of the road asking for help, and all those who are lost and suffering today.

May they find You today Lord, may they receive healing, may they receive Your Holy Spirit, Your Teacher, to accept them as they are and guide them in Your Way.

My most heartfelt pray today is for Peace in Israel and Ukraine, for the leaders of this world to come together with that in mind and as a priority over conflict and unending adversity.

I pray Your blessing on their meetings and delegated compromise over conflict.

I lift up the poor and suffering, may their people lend assistance to every one and may the hearts of the people melt in compassion, for the weak and fearful, I pray Your Spirit provide comfort to the heart of those who go without and are alone in their struggles.

Bless me this day O Lord, may my vision increase in matters of reading and understanding Your Word, may I walk in wisdom today Lord, may I shine the light You have blessed me with, in and through all I say and do today, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

May Your Teacher call to them and may they willingly receive Your Word and the gifts You have for them to receive and use. May they bring Glory to Your Holy name today.

Lord, bless my speech this morning, as I read Your Word to my brothers and sisters, may they hear and receive the blessings You have for them today.

I pray Lord, Your Spirit, live and move in the presence of the people, may they be blessed with Joy and Gladness at the reading of Your Word and the fellowship with the saints around them.

I lift up All man this day, may You heal the sick, and comfort the dying, may Your Spirit call to the lost and bring them from their aimless wandering into a church family who look forward to welcoming them, with open arms.

I pray for Peace for Israel, and Ukraine, may Your Spirit soften the hearts of their leaders, may You speak to their humanity and their conscience, to restore them to righteousness and compassion for all.

🕊️ By Faith we Understand

🕊️ Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.

By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 🕊️

🕊️ Faith at the Dawn of History

🕊️ By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.

By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Now, today, I lift up All my children, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren, All my Family, my friends and neighbors, and the strangers I meet on my life journey today, may they All come into the knowledge of Your Word and may they accept You as their own, may they come to believe and accept You as their Lord and Savior, May they find Peace in their believing, and become free from guilt, fear and doubt. May Your angels keep watch over them this day and keep them safe.

Bless these lives I’ve mentioned O Lord, may they each receive the gifts You have for them and may Your Teacher, the Holy Spirit, rest upon them and give them sight.

The Whole Armor of God

🕊️ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

🕊️ Put on Christ

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

The night is far spent, the day is at hand.

Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.

Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.

But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.🕊️

My heart was heavy for my sins were many, but then You saved me from certain peril and raised me up upon a rock, my life has been changed forever!

In All my way I acknowledge Him and He directs my steps, he directs my path in the Way. Thank You Jesus, for saving me and putting my life right!

Jesus put me upon a ship, filled my sails with wind, He charted my course on the most amazing journey of my life!

I faced many challenges in my life and my Lord blessed me and I overcame them all. When I thought my life could never be better, I experienced the most painful challenge of all, the betrayal of my then wife, who I found out was having sex with the pastor’s son for two years, without my knowledge. Many of the members of my church knew and said nothing! 

I only found out because she was pregnant and I had a vasectomy a couple years earlier. I believed this all was some kind of test of my faith, so I agreed to continue and try to work it out together. I prayed daily for God’s grace and strength and healing.

Seven years passed, then one day she decided she wanted out. We had three children, my two growing boys and their little sister.

After the divorce, even though I saw my children weekly, She poisoned my children’s mind and made them tell me they did not want to spend time with me anymore.

I was devastated! I felt such deep betrayal and loss, I began to drink to dull the pain, I stopped going to church and just buried myself in my work and exercising to keep healthy. My heart was empty and my soul was heavy with loss.

Then I met a wonderful woman on the job, and we began eating lunch together. After several months of spending time together as friends, we fell in love and I went to church with her, she was in the choir at church and sang like an angel. I was back in church and my faith began to grow again. I felt God’s hand was upon me once again and I realized He never left my side. God restored my Faith, He gave me a new life partner, my sweet bride, he blessed us with a child and I made so many new relationships with people of faith and my family grew.

Today Lord, is a day of remembrance for my life, and how many times You have been there with me and through so many challenges, Father I am so thankful, I praise Your Holy name, Praise Yahweh!

Although I don’t see or hear from any of my children or my grandchildren, I still praise my God and Savior, I lift up each of them All in prayer daily and I mentions them by name, asking God’s hand of blessing and His Spirit’s call on each of their lives and that they become children of the light.

Thank You Lord, for Your Grace, Mercy and Peace.  

I pray Your Spirit fill me this day and direct my steps, may I shine bright today in the darkness and bring glory to Your Holy name, in and through all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

My children, keep your father’s command!

An old man, father to many children, instructs them and prays over them!

🕊️ The Wicked Man

A worthless person, a wicked man,

Walks with a perverse mouth;

He winks with his eyes,

He shuffles his feet,

He points with his fingers;

Perversity is in his heart,

He devises evil continually,

He sows discord.

Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;

Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

# These six things the LORD hates,

Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:

• A proud look,
• A lying tongue,
• Hands that shed innocent blood,
• A heart that devises wicked plans,
• Feet that are swift in running to evil,
• A false witness who speaks lies,

Thank You for Your son, Jesus Christ, who died for my sins, that I might live, as His child of the light, that I might walk amongst the children of God and live forever in His presence, without fear, without suffering and pain, in Paradise with Him and All the saints who have gone before me.

Bless me this day O Lord, fill me with Your Spirit, bless me with Your Teacher, who writes Your name upon my heart and guides me in the Way.

May I walk today in the light of Your Salvation, sharing that Peace and Love with All those who will receive me, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

I lift up All my children before You Lord, my grandchildren, my great grandchildren, and the woman I call daughter, may they each come into the knowledge of Your Holy Word, may they learn to follow Your precepts and live, and how to follow Your leading them in walking as children of the light, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

I am blessed to walk before You, as Your child, with a heart looking towards the dawn of all creation, finally with You in everlasting Peace, praising Your Holy name, Yahweh!

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

🕊️ For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.

For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them:

if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith;

or ministry, let us use it in our ministering;

he who teaches, in teaching;

he who exhorts, in exhortation;

he who gives, with liberality;

he who leads, with diligence;

he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. 🕊️

Behave Like a Christian

🕊️ Let love be without hypocrisy.

Abhor what is evil.

Cling to what is good.

Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.

Be of the same mind toward one another.

Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble.

Do not be wise in your own opinion. 🕊️

Bless my sweet bride O Lord, who faces families in need of preparations for a loved one’s demise. Bless her with knowledge and wisdom, may she find joy in serving You and ministering Your Love and compassion on all she serves.

Father, I lift up All my children before You, my grandchildren, and the one I call daughter, may they each receive Your blessing today, may they sense Your Spirit’s call to serve, serve in Love and Truth, may they receive the Wisdom they need to face the challenges before them, and may they rise to the occasion every time they lift their eyes up high and call on Your Holy name, Jesus.

May You bless the fruit of their labor, may they comfort the hurting and those struggling around them, may they shine bright this day, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

I pray Father, as I celebrate the birth of my son Judah, remembering the many precious moments I experienced with him during his life, and his struggles with mental illness, toward the end of his life, I lift up All my children and grandchildren before You Lord, may Your healing, Your mercy, Grace, and Love rest upon each of them, may Your angels keep watch over them and keep them safe.

I pray Your Spirit fill them and guide them throughout their lives and lead them to make wise decisions, guide them in their relationships and healthy choices, may they develop a heart and passion for truth and justice for all man, and above All, may we all begin every day with our hearts and minds fixed on You, and how we can serve You, how we can shine our light, the light of Love, Mercy, Peace, and Truth, into the world around us and lead the blind, lost, hurting and fearful onto the path which leads to the light, which leads to You O Lord.

Thank You O Lord for this day, and another opportunity to walk in the Way and shine my light in the darkness. Lead me this day O Lord and guide me with Your Spirit, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

Praise God for all things; Praise Him when I wake and when I sleep, when I leave my home, until I return again, may God’s angels watch over me and keep my loved ones safe.

May The Lord deliver my soul to meditate on His Holy Word, may I not forget His precepts, to follow them and walk in them according to the Way.

May I teach God’s Word to my daughter and make the words come alive in her day, not just words on paper, rather stories which come alive out of the pages Read.

Spirit, fill my baby girl with Your love, may she be a friend to the friendless and a light in the darkness, leading the lost to You O Lord.

I lift up All my children before You O Lord, and the woman I call daughter; may they receive Your Spirit this day, and may they come to know Your Word and walk in Your Way, may they teach it to their children and grandchildren, may Your blessing be upon them always, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

I pray blessings on my Family this day, may they each come to know You in a special way, may they learn Your Word and follow Your precepts and the leading of Your Spirit, Your Teacher.

I lift up All my children, and the young woman I call daughter, may they come to know You, and receive Your daily blessings for their life, and for direction, may they each experience Your Loving arms surrounding them, when they come in and when they go out, may they sense Your presence in their lives. May they share the experience of their walk with You with their children, their neighbors, and their friends. May they bring glory to Your Holy name!

I lift up All my grandchildren before You my Lord, may You bless them in their day, may they learn of Your Word and follow Your Spirit’s call, leading them to You and following You in the Way, may their walk with You be reflected in their children and my great grandchildren, may they shine their light as Your children, may Your angels watch over them and keep them safe.

I pray now for the lost and dying, those who live in fear and suffering in pain, may Your Spirit bring them a respite and provide for their needs, have Mercy on them Lord, may they come to You and receive Your Word in their heart and all the gifts You have for All God’s children, may they become children of the light this day.

Bless me this day Lord, fill me with Your Spirit, use me Lord, may my hands and feet and my mind and heart be Yours to serve as You will have me to do, may I walk as Your child of the light and shine bright in and through all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

I have been blessed beyond that which I deserve, and have been given all that I have asked for, in Christ, and in this world, my family and beyond all the things I need to sustain me and my family. Thank You Lord!

I praise You in the lack of that which I need and in their abundance!

Praise The Lord for His Grace, Mercy, and Peace!

My God has supplied all that I need and removed the barriers to receive the greatest gift of all, Salvation through Faith and Eternal life with Him and all the saints who have gone on ahead before me, and all those who will follow me.

Thank You Lord, for all that I am and All that You have blessed me with.

I lift up All my children and the one I call daughter, may they each receive Your Spirit of Grace, leading them in the Way, and blessing them with wise counsel towards all the challenges they face and will come to face in due time.
