Sing to the LORD, all the earth.

Thank You for this day!

Thank You for my life!

Thank You for my sweet bride!

Thank You for my beautiful daughter!

All that I am and all that I possess, they are blessings from You O Lord!

My walk with the Lord began at the best time in my life, a time I was at my lowest point. It was during a bible study, church group meeting. The pastor had us sitting in a circle of folding chairs. After sharing the Word, and during a time of receiving communion, where the pastor passed around a small plastic dish with small pieces of bread, when the plate was passed to me, as I reached for it, God’s Spirit came upon me, it was a moment of brightness where I could not see anything but White Light, I wasn’t sure what was happening but I believed it was from God. My chair was against a wall in the circle of chairs, so after taking a piece of bread and being blinded by the light, I blindly passed the plate to my left, put the bread in my mouth, and I just put my head back against the wall and spoke to God quietly, “Lord, whatever this is, Your will be done”, then as I leaned back forward in my chair, my sight returned. The pastor gave me a bible and I began reading it as soon as I was returned to my jail cell.

So Jesus came to me while I was a prisoner, where my captivity to my sin was apparent.

I began a few months of self evaluation and studying God’s Word. I had no fear of what was going to happen to me by the court or my fellow inmates.

It was a month or so after my conversion, my time originally set, was reduced to probation and I was released.

My jail house conversion was still with me but returning to my life and reunion with my wife and family became very challenging. I lost my marriage, my visitation rights with my 6 year old daughter, and my walk with the Lord seemed like it was on hold. I was in survival mode and still so green to God’s plan and how I would use that to overcome still obscure to me. I needed training and fellowship. 

After my divorce, and a couple months of depression and self destructive behavior, I stopped at my Mom’s home to visit, that’s when God moved my brother, a quadriplegic, to ask me if we could get a place to live together and where I could become his full time caregiver, and we could sign up for junior college together. I agreed and a couple months after starting college, my brother was introduced to Jesus, by Tim, a van driver, who was a youth group leader in his church, sharing God’s plan of Salvation, Grace, Mercy and freedom. After another month of witnessing my brother’s conversion, and a serious behavior change, I asked he and Tim pray with me to accept the life of following the Way, accepting Jesus, as my Lord and Savior.

This is an abbreviated version of my conversion but gives a good view of my path of Faith and new live journey. Its been 48 years now, as a believer, Praise God!

Like the scripture above says, “Sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.

Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.

For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised;”

This perfectly describes my excitement, my Joy and my Spirit filled life and walk.

I spent the next couple years, living with my brother, sharing the Word and the Way with each other, growing in our knowledge of God’s Word, and our witness to our friends, that Jesus is our Salvation and inviting them to join us. Praise God!

Thank You Father, for saving me and keeping me in Your will and following the Way.

I pray today for All my children, my grandchildren, and great grandchildren, that they each one, might receive You O Lord, into their hearts and minds, and spirit, with the same joy and excitement. Bless them today O Lord, may Your Teacher fill them with the Word and the Way to follow daily.

I pray today I might shine my light, Your Spirit within me, in and through all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen! Hallelujah!

🕊️ Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, We have Abraham as our father.’ For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. 

He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 

His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” 🕊️

As we prepare to celebrate the day of Your coming into this world, I pray Father, fill us with Your Spirit, may we put aside all our worldly distractions, our pride, our lusts and desires which take our focus on what’s important in this life and the next to come, may we, may I, center my life and my walk on the Joy of celebrating the day of Your coming and Your Word and what precipice lies in wait for us if we do not put You first.

May the leading of Your Holy Spirit and the gift of Your Teacher, guide us, guide me, in the direction I am to go, and bless the decisions I make to be in line with Your leading and the calling on my life.

May I shine the light You placed within me, to be bright and show the Way for others to follow, as did John the Baptist. 

I pray my leading, my words and my actions, may they not be in vain or for self edification, rather may they be acts of kindness and Love, and eager to serve Your will and the Spirit’s call.

Guide me this day Lord, lead me, strengthen my Faith on my journey this day, may my feet be planted firmly in the Way and with Your Love within, may I Love others in like manner. 

I pray blessings, Mercy, Grace, and Peace upon my fellow brothers and sisters in the Faith.

I lift up All my children before You O Lord, All my grandchildren, and my great grandchildren, may Your angels watch over them this day and keep them safe, may they each receive the gifts You have for them, may they learn of the Way and follow the Teacher’s call and direction for their day and their lives.

I lift up before You, the fate of Israel and Peace among their neighbors, I pray for Peace in Ukraine, and protection for its people.

Father, there are so many lives out there who desperately need the basic essentials for them to survive, please provide for their needs, and relieve their suffering.

I pray for healing for myself and my family (Erick) and all those I don’t know who are sick and suffering. I pray for healing and comfort for them and their families.

Father, help me to put You first in All I do and say today, may my focus be pure and my actions serve as a blessing to others, may I bring glory to Your Holy name, Yahweh! 

May my light shine bright today in and through all I say and do, in Jesus’ name, Amen!

🕊️ Uzziah was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem fifty-two years. His mother’s name Jecoliah; she was from Jerusalem. He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father Amaziah ha done. He sought God in the days of Zechariah, who instructed him in the fear of God. As long as he sought the Lord, God gave him success.

2 Chronicles 26:3-5

Father, I pray to understand the importance of being a man of God. I turn to You Lord, with my needs, my praises, my thanksgiving. I seek to turn away from all ungodly examples of manhood, and at times I fail. There are so many images and idols that distract me from my good intentions from Your will. Help my Father, to surround myself with godly men, and give me discernment as I weigh the choices in my life. I pray for Your leading so I can read words written by men of God, listen to the lessons of these men and emulate those who live a righteous, holy life. I will always seek to be the man You created me to be, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
